Michael has more than 20 years experience building and managing technology driven organizations in the life science and healthcare space. He lead the development of a leading Austrian research and development organization from the start-up stage  to a 220 employee organization over a period of 16 years as Managing Director. During this time he honed his general management, business planning & development, as well as financial management skills, building a science driven organization through the most critical growth stages. He has extensive experience with the formation and management of high-tech based alliances, licensing transactions, as well as spin-offs.  Michael has also been co-founder of several life science start-up companies, driving their strategy development, business planning and fund raising efforts. Before becoming a C-level executive and serial company builder, Michael spent 8 years in corporate finance and management consulting.

Michael hold a degree in Business Administration from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt and an Executive MBA in Mergers & Acquisitions from University of Muenster. Michael is fluent in German and English.
